We mean business!

After what may be considered the upset of the season in their first match, 2G1S set out to prove their title credentials against SA Maritime College. Easy Play’s win earlier in the week meant that the Schlupp boys would have to win if they wanted to maintain their lead at the top of the Social League table, but no one expected the onslaught that followed.

The team capitalised on a lacklustre performance from SA Maritime College and showed no mercy as top goal scorer, Josh Smith, continued his goal-mouth rampage, scoring 13 goals and setting up a further three for his teammates. 28-2 winners on the night, 2G1S, once again, place the pressure squarely on the shoulders of the defending champions.

With the title race gaining steam, it seems, even at this early stage, that there is no margin for error.
