Varsity College finished Season 2 bottom of the table with no points and a negative goal difference. The performances this season have been far more positive, though, as an 8-6 win over Kings Archive FC means the IIE boys are yet to drop points this campaign.
The upturn in performances and results has been attributed to the leadership of captain Byron Erasmus, who has managed to transform a group of ill-disciplined football enthusiasts into a team capable of challenging the top half of the log.
It remains to see how competitive this team can be this season, as they are yet to play the more established teams in the league.
