The Expendables show their maturity

This Monday evening, League debutants The Expendables took on regulars Shin City, but it was the newcomers who looked at home as they secured all three points.

Shin City, who have appeared in all three Premier League finals this year, have had a troubled start to the season, with many doubting they can extend that remarkable run. The revamped side have struggled to recreate the strong team chemistry which has made them a formidable side in days gone by and after a loss in their opening match of the season, they were in search of a positive result.

On the other side of the halfway line stood another team which suffered a loss in their opening match. The Expendables went down 10-7 to Matt’s Team, with side leaking goals all game. Thus, they too needed a positive result.

And it was The Expendables who would be victorious on the night. The team romped to a 3-0 lead early in the first game and managed the game very well from that point onwards. Showing the same attacking flair, they did in their first game, The Expendables were able to remain solid at the back, with the team’s defensive stronghold, Zaid Solomans, contributing a Man-of-the-match performance.
