Mid-season Review: Zestlife Set to Repeat History

With 5 game weeks played in the First Division, a mid-season review of where the teams and players stand becomes an interesting note.

Whether or not it was expected, it remains Zestlife Premier who top the standings on the log. WIth 5 games played and 5 wins, this sides’ perfect record seems to follow the trend of last season, the same season that saw them lift the trophy. With several games to play, their position at the top is still uncertain, with the Expendables and 2 Girls 1 Schlupp breathing right behind their necks.

In terms of player performances, Zestlife Premier’s Mohammad with 20 goals and 2 assists, The Expendable’s Abdullah with 18 goals and 5 assists, and Josh Smith from 2 Girls 1 Schlupp with 17 goals and 3 assists, all seem to be gunning for the player of the season prize. With these players impressing this season, it remains to be seen who will lead and  inspire their team to take the trophy home.

The remainder of this season seems set to unlock a few surprises.
