Surprise package meets underperformer

The dream start continued for the Varsity College who look like a brand new team this season. Their first three games have now yielded nine points, with 28 goals scored in the process.

12 of those 28 goals came against last season’s runners-up, Shin City. In a hotly contested match, both teams exchanged control throughout the game. However, it was Varsity College who took the lead late in the second half, this time managing to hold on to the final whistle.

The VC success story further adds to downfall of Shin City who continue to look disorganized in defence. The absence of a regular goalkeeper being their largest problem, Shin City must replace Matt Kingwill soon, if they wish to regain their title this season.
